Trading Overview

Programmatic access to USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, and Nigerian naira (NGN) conversions.

Why Trading Belongs in Your Stack

Whether you’re building a consumer wallet, a merchant platform, or a treasury management product, seamless conversions between Bitcoin and stablecoins are essential infrastructure.

Developers shouldn't have to manage multiple exchange APIs, worry about routing liquidity, or manually price assets. You need:

A simple API to convert between assets

Trusted price discovery without having to maintain order books

Clear execution logic and transparent fees

No volume limits, so you can serve both retail users and enterprise flows

The Bitnob Trading API gives you exactly that — a modern, powerful way to offer USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, and NGN swaps inside your application.

What Bitnob Offers

The Trading API allows you to:

Quote the price to convert between USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, and NGN (for example USDTBitcoin, or NGNUSDT)

Execute a trade on-demand using a fixed quote or a live market rate

Settle instantly into a Bitnob-managed wallet on either side of the trade

Track every trade with clear IDs, timestamps, and ledger updates

Avoid slippage surprises by executing with quote locking when needed

There are no trade limits. Whether you're handling $5 or $5 million, the experience and integration remain the same.

How It Works

Key Features

Real-Time Pricing: You can request market or locked quotes in real time — or read indicative rates from Get Prices — allowing you to show users exactly how much they’ll get before executing a trade.

Atomic Execution: Trades are executed atomically — either fully filled or not at all. You’ll never get a partial or slippage-filled result.

Wallet-Connected Settlement: After the trade, assets are deposited directly into the corresponding Bitnob wallet (USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, or NGN). No additional steps or manual transfers needed.

Clear Webhooks and Logs: Every completed trade is recorded, timestamped, and can trigger a webhook (trade.completed) to keep your system in sync.
